    Smile Usb Hd problems

    Hi,

Dunno if this will help but I find that if don't plug the usb hd in at startup, I then plug it in after running usbloader it finds it ok and loads fine.
When I had it plugged in at startup it would report that the drive was not formatted properly and would ask to format the drive.

Hope this helps it works for me everytime.

    Cheers

    Colin

Us some PAL games not loading from HDD

Hey guys. New to the forum. Finally got my Wii moded and added an external HDD WD 1TB. Using USB Loader GX. Some of my PAL games load fine and others load but the mHZ is out of sync. The screen just seems to roll. I have made setting changes but to no avail. Any ideas?

I'm having a similar problem with my loader not recognizing my HD. I tried Wiiflow, USB Loader GX, and uLoader - all latest versions. I suspect the problem is due to the hibernate mode in my WD 1.5tb Mybook Home edition.

If I power up the drive AFTER I start a loader, it works fine. I realize this may be a minor annoyance, but it's driving me nuts!

    Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if it was those drives or a different WD model, but I remember reading on amazon about people having their drive's sleep issues resolved after taking a firmware update on the WD website. Maybe check that out.

Hi there. Same problems too. I have a wii on 4.2 and 4.1 and 3.4. They all work with my H´DD Verbatim 500 gb. Fully formatted WBFS. I then bought Hitach 320 Gb and formatted perfectly to WBFS, the games are their when I open it on PC. But when I connect to WII on my 4.2 and 4.1U it just sounds like a clicking noise and the USB loader just counts down from 30 and finds nothing. But on the 3.4 and 4.1 normal it works perfect? What cn I do?
