Hassaan did u manage to run backups on your 4.2e with the tesco +DVD ?
I have a black wii 4.2e and i tryed with Verbatine -R and no succes, the same old error 1101.
I tried Hassan's tesco DVD+r still error 1101.
Sorry that i ask a stupid question but i don't know what it means "backwars lmao" can u be more specific.
Is sommeone with a black wii who menage to run backup disc? please tell me. I run NeoGamma v7 with cios38 rev14, and last knight i installed cioscorp v3.5 and still can't run the backup discs.

People, always burn at a 2.x speed. I burn at 2.4x and all my games work perfectly. I also use memorex dvds which are the best, even if they are cheap.

Nuwai, memorex FTW. Remember that memorex commercial where they recorded the lady singing breaking the glass, and then replayed it and it broke again? Obviously fake but it got me to buy the cassettes back then.
I have a 4.2 and I am worried that I have that D3-2 drive because I have tried to play a backup game through neogamma and I got error 1101. I thought maybe I would try mplayer ce to see if a burned DVD would work on there and it wouldn't but neither would a storebought one. Would that D3-2 drive prevent reacing of any DVD? I have read that Mplayer CE cant read the new DVDX title and to just wait for an update to Mplayer CE. I installed DVDx when I sodtmodded at the beginning with the HBC. Am I doing something wrong or is there something else I can try to get neogamma or mplayer ce to read ANYTHING!? I have seen that there is a DVDx installer in HBC browser, should I install that one (ver 3.4)?
I am kinda a newbie. I have gamma R7 io36 rev 3351 with memorex -r on 2x and they wont play (error 1101) can a 4.2u LU6252 play them?
I also tried downloading the wbfs manager for the usb loader gx but the net framework 3.5 file wont setup correctly so i cant use the usb method right?
Is there any help for me?

I have new black Wii, version 4.1E with IOS36.
I used Verbatim DVD-R, burned at 2x with Imgburn and Nero, different ISOs.
None of them worked (5 attempts).
With Neogamma R7 I get Error 1101, with Neogamma R6 I get Error 972.
New Neogamma R8 seems not to work (it is not visible in main menu after install).

I'd prefer to use DVDs, not HDD, so I didn't try USBLoaderGX.
Later during the day I am going to buy some non-brand DVD, maybe some DVD+ to test, I'll write if it works.
Any help with some usefull links would be really appreciated.
