Everything else works in the loader - only the covers don't show

    Can anyone help please?
Is the no image cover stored in the same location as all your other covers? Also do u have internet connection to auto download the covers?

Here is a quote from the readme
    covers:
    2d: sd:/usb-loader/covers/*.png
    3d: sd:/usb-loader/covers/3d/*.png
    disc: sd:/usb-loader/covers/disc/*.png
    full: sd:/usb-loader/covers/full/*.png
This is where your covers are located, if you cannot view covers from within the loader then you are doing something wrong. It is best to download covers thru the loader using wifi.

If you cannot do that just download 2D covers and ad them to the covers folder, you may be confused because there are also other folders in the covers folder. There are example cover images in each of the folders so you can see where to place each type of cover image.

I would like to try this loader. I haven't really had too many problems with GX. I like the many differnt options this offers though. I unfortunately updated to 4.2 before finding Wiihacks. Will I be able to use this loader properly and if so what version do you recommend for my system menu?

If your system menu is 4.2 then it is recommended not to downgrade. This loader should work on 4.2 as long as you followed a guide here and softmodded your 4.2 Wii.

Thanks. I did use a guide from here, and I will not try to downgrade. I imagine some people may try, so you cannot assume anything. I would like to be able to install this as a channel as opposed to a HBC app. Do I need to unzip the files to the root of the sd card or apps folder? Ok I finally "sorta" got it. I downloaded the full package and after selecting usb mass storage from the loading menu, it says I am not formatted to Fat1(which I know). I got my HDD to load eventually, but seems like a lot of work. Should I delete that off the SD and try the middle link? My HDD has no secondary partitions and is in wbfs format. I want to be able to just open the loader and it boots to my HDD like GX does. Is this possible with this particulair loader?( My son plays mostly and that is easier fro him)

Just get that hybrid channel I posted in the first post. Put that in the wad folder (of your SD card) and install it with wad manager. That will install CFG v48 to your Wii menu as a channel. Then if you want, you can goto global settings and find an update for the loader. When you update, a newer version of the loader will be installed to your SD card. Now your channel will boot the updated loader from your SD card. If you remove the card it will still boot CFG v48. You may want the SD card in the Wii, because it will store the cover images there, without the SD card, no images will show.

Thanks again. I will try that. I have been getting a black screen on a select few games using GX. I tried different ios, cios38 rev 17, and all the different setting combinations I could think of. Maybe a newer loader will help. It is only like 3 out of over 80 games, just bugs me I can't figuure them out.
