WSR - What am i doing wrong

I have got a scrubbed pal version of Wii sports Resort.

    Cios13b & neogammer 6

All files are in root on SD card, when i tell it to run with alternative dol i get disk read error. If i just try and load i get to the Health and Safety message, press A and it bombs out to Wii home screen.

This is doing my head in now,

Same here - I'll be honest and tell you that I downloaded my copy so I dont know if its scrubbed or not. I used WBFS Manager 3.0 to install it on my HDD using the settings remove update partition - and it did the same as yours.

I re-installed it telling to copy everything and it still did the same. Next I'll have to burn it to disc and see what happens.

File must be in a NeoGamma folder created in root, along with the boot.dol, at least according to a readme I picked up. Also works in apps/Neogamma. Try it.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

If you install ISO to HDD using WBFS Manager, the image will be scrubbed, just like when installing to HDD using USB Loader from a disc, will also be scrubbed. So no worry there.

How i got WSR to work

I had problems for days until i found what to do, this is how i did it...

Loading Game using a Disc Via Neogamma

Firstly, you need to download and install Neogamma 6, put this into the apps folder thats on the route of your SD Card.

Secondly, make a folder on the route of your sd card and call it Neogamma and put the RZTP.dol file in there as well as a copy of the boot.dol file thats located in apps\neogamma\boot.dol

Thirdly, open Neogamma via Homebrew and change the config settings as follows:-

    002 fix on

    alt.dol on

Save the settings and load the DVD, top option of the 2.

The game should load and start to show you the long boring Wii Motion+ video, once that has played it may restart its self or you may have to reset it, either way you will need to reload neogamma through homebrew and go into the config settings and turn of alt.dol file leaving 002 fix on, then click save settings, load the game the same way as you did above and all being well it should work, it did for me, BTW i am on Wii menu 3.2 with CIOS Rev10 installed i think.

To load the game through USB Loader GX all i had to do (assuming you have USB LOader already installed) was make a copy of the RZTP.dol file above, rename it to RZTP01.dol and put it on the route of my sd card, then i copied the game to my USB drive using USB Loader GX, then i turned the 002 fix on and the alt.dol on, loaded the game, watched the video, reset the wii and reloaded the game through USB Loader GX, and hey presto its all working sweet, hope this is of use to someone, any questions please feel free to PM me....

I'm not sure if this works with a scrubbed ISO - but heres how to fix the game.

To get this working do the following:

    Use Wiiscubber to extract player.dol

    -> partition1 -> sys -> mpls_movie -> player.dol

Rename it RZTP01.dol, put this file in the root folder of the SD card (this is the default for usbloader gx). Before you launch the game change the dol location to alt in the game's settings and then watch the movie. When the Wii resets itself after the movie go back into the game's setting and change the dol location back to the default.

    It then works fine...

4.0e, cIOS rev13a, USBloader GX (you have to use USBloader GX for this) 002 fix on
