As far as im aware the 360 will not read a usb drive if it has been partitioned. Needs to be fat32, primary with no other partitions.

Maybe oneday will be fixed in a future update by Microsoft.

Just did this over the weekend. Very easy...In Vista right click computer then select manage...then disk management..then select your drive and shrink it to the size you want the partition to be...I had a terabyte drive and made two 500 gig partitions. After that open up WFBS manager and format one of the partitions for use with your Wii games then your done...I use Wii Flow for my games on one partition and use Mplayer for the other partition with movies and music on it (which is formatted as NTFS...I forgot to mention).

Is anyone able to have their external hdd plugged into their computer and their wii at the same time? I've been switching the cable back and forth, but would like to find a solution.
