    1) You dont have your hard drive plugged in to the right port?
    2) You dont have a cios installed?
    3) the forwarder only works if usbloadergx is in the correct folder on the sdcard.

    just to clarify some things:

    1) My hdd is plugged into the right port (closest to ground if wii is sideways).
    2) I have installed cIOS38_rev13b.
    3) The usbloadergx (boot.dol) is in the "usbloadergx" folder

Not only the forwarder, but it dosen't work on hbc neither.
Do i have to install another cios than this one?

Have you installed IOS35.wad and CIOSv7.wad?

Is it just USB Loader GX that causes you issues?

Try another Loader and see how you fare to rule out cIOS issues.

You might have a config issue with GX, it's quite bloated with config files, maybe ones corrupted? Maybe a fresh install if you haven't tried it or perhaps a downgrade to an older version.

Sorry i'm a little noob when it comes to wii hacks.

I followed a nice tutorial on how to install hbc whit backup loader on youtube.
Everything works fine except usb loader gx, wich i installed myself.
I can load snes9x fine, mplayer and a little game called super mario war.

After installing usb loader gx, (and could not make it work) i installed "cIOS38_rev13b"
thinking it would be solving the problem, whitout success.

I don't know how to reinstall usb loader gx, do i just reinstall over it? Or do i have to uninstall it first?

Don't worry we all started somewhere. I remember it took me two weeks to take the courage to run the Twilight Hack.

It's possible you did not install cIOS 38 Rev 13b correctly but only you can judge that. Not sure if it'd crash out though but rather prevent you from mounting anything.

A far simpler loader might be just what you need, at least until you get this issue resolved. The simplest one I found was called USB Loader 1.5 by Wanikoko, this program has a very simple interface but is what all others are based on. Grab it here. Unrar and place the whole folder into your apps folder on your SD card. Run the application from the Homebrew Channel and see what happens.

You can simply delete the existing folders USB Loader GX has created and replace with another version just by dropping the files onto the SD. Uninstalling channels can be done safely by using the channel remove option in the normal Wii settings area.

Also, just to help the process. If what Tealc says doesnt get you anywhere. Why don't you run Neogamma for us. You can start it from HBC. Down at the bottom it should show what cios you're using. If it doesn't say rev13b. You definitely did not install it correctly. And that right there is a show stopper.

Yep, that cIOS installer can lull you into a false sense of security. I was sure to hell I'd installed it correctly yet couldn't figure why nothing worked. In the end it was the simple 1.5 loader that gave me the error code I needed to find the solution. I didn't know about the neogamma thing because of my modchip.

Thank you all for trying to help me whit this!

So, i installed usb loader 1.5 and got it to run, well kinda.
When i ran it it told me "Custom ios could not be loaded! (ret = - 4100)"
so got back on forums and heard i should switch to Cios rev10.
So i did that and still got the same error.

I installed the Cios using the installer via the wifi network and everything seemed to be installed. But i noticed when it says "Cios installed succesfully" there is an error in the installing process.
-Intalling ticket... ERROR! (ret = -2011)

is this error normal, any ideas?
