What a fantastic program, this works best for me using ther freeagent 1tb. The only gripe I have is that I would like it to be a channel and not be only runnable from hbc.
Is there a version that will install as a channel with a fancy icon ?

Just use a forwarder. What a forwarder does is just load whatever is at a certain location on an SDCard. So they're completely independent of what it is they're loading. You could have a USB Loader GX forwarder actually start snes9x if you replaced the .dol on your SDCard accordingly.
I only know of one big forwarder thread off the top of my head. But like I said, any forwarder you like will do the trick. You'll just have to change the directory you have ULoader in on your sdcard.

Good idea, I had not realized that you can do that. I looked on that site and there is a chap that does fancy icons for this forwarder jobbie so it might be just the system I'm looking for.
The other programs I have like neogammer and usbloader are installed to the wii it's self, and work with no sd card in, but as I always have the card in for bootmii and stuff anyway it may as well be on the card.
I have since found out that installing to the wii is putting the program on the NAND and it can brick your wii if it's a bad program, and there is no way of telling if it's a wii bricker till it's bricked. Is correct ?

thats correct, but if you have preloader or bootmii, and you do get a bad wad all you have to do is boot up with either program, and reload wad manager, in wad manager you have an option to uninstall the wad...very simple
What Vash said. Also, when dealing with wads from the thread I linked, or from a large popular public source. Odds are you're not going to be the first person to discover the wad is bad. In the case of something like Loader GX's forwarder a few hundred thousand people have already installed it just fine.

On a side note I want to add some icons in uloader for my games, the instuructions told me how and where to get the icons, but simply said to use uloader to add them. The button to load an icon is grey and cant be pressed, do you know how to add game icons in uloader ?
