    FreeAgent 1TB SUCSESS!!!!!!

OK after a full two days working on this, going balled through plucking my hair out. Going blind from reading post after post - forum after forum. Getting a repetitive strain injury from googling and asking questions. Getting a bad back through constantly getting up from the sofa to hit the reset button or switch the wii off and on again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES !! I have got the damn thing to work.

Backup loader 1.5 from Waninkoko (donít want to say that after a few beers) works with the Seagate Free Agent 1TB.

Its all down to the IOS & CIOS - but donít give up hope because it does work.

I donít know for how long and I donít know how well, but it formatted the drive and and installing a game on it now as I type this drivel.

There is a slight procedure to get it to work.
    1) Pull the power lead from the drive.
    2) Boot the wii
    3) start USB loader from dash
    4) power up drive
    5) Press A to select USB Mass Storage Drive
    6) Enjoy

ok ok I seem to have a #002 error now can anyone help with this ?

I use USB LOADER GX so i'm not sure. When you go to load the game how does it load? Can you select game setting before you load the game like with USB loader gx? Is there any menu button on the interface that can be clicked?

If all else fells I'd download usb loader gx and install it. It can be found on this site. Just put it in your apps folder on your SD card.

    Hi thanx for the reply,

I have the USB LOADER GX but I have not got it to work yet. On closer inspection of the TV i think the button I have to press is '1' so i'll have another go after i finish backing up another disc.

This USB lark is imprecise and buggy to say the least, but it does give you a bit of a buz when it finally does work - lol

    Hi again,

The Device Menu was indeed '1' but alas all it does is allow you to select another mass storage device.

Still I have has sucsess - just a little less than I was hoping for - lol

    Edit :-

I have just got the USB LOADER GX to work, same procedure as for the USB LOADER 1.5 except you power on the drive then select ISO249. I can report that you can select #002 error fix and in the games you can select home button, then reselect USB LOADER GX from the dash and it works right off the bat - RESULT !
