Hello all!

I just had my Wii soft modded. I am having a few issues.

1. 3 newer games I put to disk and I got error #002 for them. The games are (Punchout, The Conduit, and Ice Age 3)

2. Mario Kart is saying something about 60HZ.

3. Resident Evil 4 & Prince of Persia are black and white and fuzzy.

4. Also I downloaded several Virtual Console games, added some to the SD card but can't get them to show up.


Sorry if this is too much, also I know I can find most of this here, but I need step by steps to fix these.

Ok Ill give this a shot. First dealing with your error 002 problem. Those games that give that error have 1 of 3 iso's. They are either 38,53 or 55. To determine what iso number a game uses, download iospatcher and open the ios file using iospatcher. Anyways, theres 2 ways to fix that error. You can either go and install those 3 iso numbers onto your wii (yours currently arent installed or arent up to date) or you can patch the game. I go and patch all my games that have any of those 3 numbers just to be safe. To patch, youll need to download wiiscrubber and Bailli's generic wii patcher. If you go that route, simply PM me and ill walk you through it. make sure when you download wiiscrubber, that you get the included key.bin file or else the program wont work.
Your problem with mario kart youll need to give me more details on it before I know what the problem is. I "think" 60hz deals with pal games so if its a pal game, thats the reasoning. Let me just say that if you are using an out of region game on your console, try not to. That could be the reasoning for your mario kart problem. And it could be your reasoning for your other 2 games you mentioned giving a black/white fuzzy screen. When you play a pal game on a ntsc console, dont change the region using regionfrii, and dont force NTSC in configurations (when using backup launcher) youll get that problem.

Ios(s) are indeed needed to play some games but they will not fix a 002 error what you need is a Backup Launcher with a 002 error fix which i recommend Neogamma Launcher.

Those VC games are most likely .wad files which need to be installed with Wad Manager and that will make them a playable channel which then if you have 4.0 you can move them back to the sd card and play them via sd channel.

ios 53 etc, do fix some 002 errors trust me but others need more then an ios to work

1. Install a backup launcher made in the last 5 years. I'd recommend Neogamma. Google it.

2. Set the loader to Force NTSC or PAL. Whatever you need. (NTSC = US, PAL = Euro)

4. As stated, Wad Manager will install them.
