    There was an app that could backup Wii discs to your computer via wifi but that's been technically superseeded by USB loaders which are far more convenient.

    I think he is asking if you can run a Wii ISO via wifi from the PC.
    It would be nice. No more usbloader, just run straight from your PC's hard drive. I'm not sure if the Wii is even fast enough to do this!

    I looked into this before in hopes of a wifi iso loader.
    I have a NAS drive hooked to my wifi router with all of my iso's on it.
    Just think if I was able to run the games from the NAS via wifi like I believe he is asking.

    I think the major technical problem would be speed. Think about trying to watch the opening sequence of galaxy through a back up. It would be do-able for extremely small games like Link's xbow, but anything worth playing I can only imagine would be extremely painful.

    Also it would be much more dynamic than the current methods. While there are of course different read speeds for different hard drives, it's still extremely confined. Depending on the router, the computer's read speed, the connection, etc.. you could get different load times just depending on the allignment of the moon.

    Also, little known fact. You can edit your post. Click 'Go Advanced' then delete your own post -- helpful for double postings. Not sure if it works once someone has already replied though and too lazy to check.

    Yeah I was asking if you could run them over wifi. I'm sure ossot is right though, probably doable just not very practical. Hopefully someday. In the meantime I'll just have to go get a decent sized hard drive. Thanks for your replies guys.

    You never know it could be possible.

    I said this before in another thread;
    If your able to run doom (dos version) on a 386 cpu and 64k of ram over a ethernet anything is possible.

    I'm kinda wondering something similar, I want to know if its possible to dump iso's from my PC to my External HDD on the Wii. Its a bitch disconnecting the drive all the time and I'd like to make a custom case to house the two together.

    you can dump from the wii to the usb hdd, then you dont need to keep unplugging it.

    If I understand you correctly you're saying I can dump the discs I currently have onto the HDD from the wii?
    What do I need for that?

    Much appreciated btw.
