not that I know of, but why do you *think* you need to downgrade?

This is WHY you would NOT make a good moderator of wiihacks.com....

yes downgrade without internet is possible... however i do not know about 4.0, because i tend to skip all the 4.0 disscussions

    Download this:

    NTSC Semi-brick fix disc

use wiiscrubber or trucha signer to extract IOS 30 and the System Menu wad.

Use wadmanager to install the two to get to 3.2U

Caution: Install IOS 30 first then the System Menu Wad.

If something happens at all during the process, the Wii will be bricked.

If it stops suddenly / errors out while installing the System Menu Wad...you just better hope not!

Offline installations are usually wad files, and 3.2 uses two wads: IOS30 v1040 + SystemMenu

Im just hoping for someone to have an offline installation process for the newest Mii Channel and Wii Shop Channel.

    P.S.

If this was being downgraded from version 3.3v2, then some of the IOS's will be patched unless you reinstall the previous versions.

oh snap you sure did show me. Minus guides that no one reads I do more 'round the clock support on these forums than 5 mods put together*

Also, big props to you for giving the guy extremely dangerous directions for something he more than likely doesnt need. I only hope you're as informative post-brick. Seriously, if directions have a line that needs to say "at this point, if it goes wrong, you're screwed"..

Most people just think they need 3.2, and have no clue why. Just like countless people upgrade to 4.0 for no reason. Simply supplying people with a ton of information is not helpful. Not for most people anyway. People are upgrading and downgrading all the time with no clue on why they're doing it and in the process they brick. By not trying to tell this guy the cold hard facts about firmware all you're doing is perpetuating the mindless firmware hop-scotch.

You're just passing out guns to people without teaching them how to aim... and thus we see daily threads on people shooting themselves in the foot.. but what do I know. I'd make a horrible moderator on the internet forums. My parents should be ashamed..

i got offline (wad) installs of the new mii and shop channels, if you want them click my sig and look under channels - also, offline downgrades aren't as dangerous as people like to think, just as long as you don't pull plug halfway through then you be fine... and i think you'd be a good mod ossot...
