The internet connection becomes issue if you click on covers.
I found that only certain versions of .DOL were compatable if running Preloader.

The version that is in my attachment package crashed after I installed pre-loader, but if you look inside the package their is a .DOL file in a folder called Preloader. Use this!

You mean certain versions of the USB Loader .DOL files?

I don't think I've installed Pre-loader, as I don't remember downloading it, I installed BootMii, which I think is an alternative right? Though I've never used it!

I just renamed a few files on my SD Card after installing everything and now I leave the memory card in the slot at all times and access the USB Loader v1.5 via the USB Loader GX forwarder, if that makes sense

    What you running?
ah ok. i'm using usb loader GX

using the forwarder to load the .dol off my usb hard drive.

was getting the exact same problem, i guess the dol on my hard drive was stuffed O.o yesterday was my first wii modding experience so I had about 4 or 5 different versions of everything sitting around. I just swapped out the dol on the hard drive with another usb loader GX one i had on my SD card. works perfectly now.

Is the "normal" usb Loader better than usb loader GX?

by "normal" do you mean 1.5? USB Loader GX is the newest so it should be better or at least more compatible with usb drive and games.
But it seem 1.5 more reliable.
You really just got to try them and seem which works best for you.
You'll probably find some games work on one (or work better on one) and not the other.
you can also try NeoGamma i think R7 is out it also a usb loader.

    Hi

Can you tell me what you need to do/change to get the USB forwarder to load the .dol off the USB hard drive, as opposed to the SD Card please? Just wondering what (config?) file needs changing and what the file structure should look like on the hard drive. This way I can probably do away with the SD card!

Also, is it possible to automatically load the USB Loader as soon as the Wii is turned on, to save me selecting the channel from the main screen, if so, how can this be done? If this can be done, is there a way to override this, in case I need to play a game directly from the DVD drive?

Also, I thought there was only one USB Loader GX, so what do you mean by you were using the wrong .dol file?

    Thanks.

    How did you fix it??
was using USB Loader 1.5 how you fixed it, or did you mean that was an alternate solution?
thanks..having the exact same screen you posted when trying to add games.

edit: seem to have fixed it by using a different dol...dumb luck I guess? oh well
How did fix this? What dol did you change? I am trying to fix the error in USB Loader GX, not load another loader.

I had the same problem when installing game to usb through usb loader gx it begins to install then crashes with that error posted earlier. I took the advice on the forum and formatted the usb as ntsc then reformatted with wbfs manager and it has resolved the issue for me.

Its worth a try for anyone who still has this issue.
