Installing WAD files to SD is it possible?

I use wad manager to install all wads on my system i always choose IOS36 when I install. I have now run out of space. I tried moving the wads to the sd card but they fail to launch from the sd... is there a way to install directly to the sd card so i can launch the game from it?

Just a guess but why dont you delete the wads u just installed and reinstall them using IOS249 and then move them back to the SD Card and launch them off the SD Card Channel

installing on IOS249 doesn't make a difference I still cant move it to the sd and play off of the sd. it wont even let me move it back to the wii system i tried this thinking i could use the sd as storage and move it to the wii whenever I wanted to play it... Have you tried this? Did it work for you?

Have the same problem. They have a fix for it for older firmware I believe but Dog was telling me he heard they would have a fix for this soon in 4.0. As for now only the wiiware games you actually bought can be backed up and played from SD.
