    Ghostbusters freezing

I've been trying to load the backup of Ghostbusters, but everytime i run it it freezes at the remote screen. I saw on another post that if you eject the dvd and put it back it will work, i tried and it does, but i was seeing if anyone knows why its doing this. I have 4.0U with a Drivekey, i do not have the HBC. Why is it freezing is it a bad iso, although it is playable after making it past the freezing part. Any help would be great. If anyone has gotten this to work with a mod-chip and without a softmod please let me know.

Thats weird that it freezes, I have 3.2e with a wiikey2 and I can boot the NTSC game from the disc channel and it works fine....

I do have softmod, but that shouldn't be an issue here as you have later wii firmware, so you should have all the ios' required etc for the game.....

    Same problem

I have the same exact problem, though I didn't know I could eject then reinsert the game to play.

Have you tried Virtua Tennis 2k9? I get an invalid disc error on that game.

I have soft mod with USB GX loader and Wii Key 1st generation with my Wii FIrmware at 4.0U Original Firmware. Both my disc and the USB loads work fine. Maybe you should reburn the image at slower speed. The Disc copy plays fine with WiiKey and the USB Loaded version plays fine with "Fix 002 Error" turned on. Could be bad image of game as well...

I'll give it a try, though I did burn it at the same speed I've always burnt my images at. (6x)

Virtua Tennis works fine for me, ghostbusters is the only game i've ever had problems with. I've tried to seperate iso's, and they both do the same thing. I really don't know why its doing this? I'm burning at 4x, but i really dont believe that would make it do this since it plays fine after ejecting the game and putting it back in.

when the remote screen comes up instantly start pressing A, I noticed if I didn't press it quick it would freeze, but if I got it quick enough it worked.

but now I can run games from the disc channel and it runs fine now

    Anyone Else

Anyone know why its doing this, do you think my backup image is bad? I can get it to work by either ejecting it or pressing A quickly. But it would be nice to find out why its doing this. I'm going to try making a backup straight from the game and see how it works.

    Ghostbusters works fine now.

I burned the game at a slower speed (4x) and now it loads with no issues. Don't know why I had to burn it slower than my other images, but it worked, so I'm happy.
