    Thanks Louie.

Every game I have...ummm....purchased has worked like a charm. Even Punch Out. I have heard of some peeps having difficulties with rev13b. Are you running that? I heard that after every game one must restart the Wii. Anyways, a link would be appreciated. I need to do some research here. Have you been able to get this game to work? Every game has worked exactly like it should so I am hesitant to mess with my Wii. You know what I mean?

    Thanks again!

well i've got the cios38_rev13-installer.dol file but i read the readme and it tells me to copy "IOS38-64-v3610.wad" file to the root of a SD card... i only have IOS38-64-v3609.wad

I read somewhere that you had to rename v3609 to v3610 to install--but i want to be absolutely sure first. Do I need to upgrade back to 4.0 to install cIOS38 rev 13?

There ought to be a tutorial for this stuff once it all gets ironed out. I'm so confused.

I didnt upgrade to 4.0, i kept a copy of cios rev 10 so if i need to go back then i will, i also read that you have to restart the wii if you want to change games (a little annoying but hopefully fixed soon)

anyway here is the link where i got the files from (hope this ok admin)
    Demonoid.com - cIOS 38 rev 13 + USBLoader channel + Wad Manager 1.4 + WBFS Mac 1.2

i havent tested as yet, i will be testing in about 1 hour and will let you know the results.

anyway, the way im going to test it, is update to rev 13a, and use usbloader GX on a forwarder channel, i am also going to test it with backup launcher 0.3 gamma with 002 fix and let you know the results.

thanks. well, I'll give it a try now that i have the .wad i need.

by restart, do they mean the fact that it goes to the health and safety screen every time you try to go to the menu? because that's what mine does. it's just weird.

I haven't used the USBloader option. I have always burned it to a disc and used backup launcher. I like your style though. Go for the GUSTO!

    Working!!!!

    Hey guys,

I installed cios38 rev13a nor porblems to report yet, i loaded backup launcher 0.3gamma with 002 fix and green screen, i then used the usb loader GX and changed the settings to force vid, with 002fix and started the game, and it works.

Cant report any other issues as yet as not fully tested. if your using backup launcher 0.3gamma with 002 fix, you may need to force NTSC. and it may work. i will try and post an update shortly after more testing.

well I've got the 2 files (the .dol and .wad) but I can't for the life of me, figure out how to load them. I tried putting IOS38-64-v3610.wad in the root of the SDCard and cIOS 38 Rev installer in it's own dir under /apps/. cIOS Rev Installer doesn't show up in HBC Menu when reading the SDCard.

according to the readme it tells me to 'Run the installer and select "WAD Installation"' whatever that means. I usually install WADs via HBC's Wad Installer--I can't get it to run the Installer. Maybe I just have them in the wrong directories? Do I have to uninstall 249 first? What apps do I use to do all this? Also, keep in mind I'm running this off a disc--not via USB HD. Come to think of it, my Gamma Backup Loader doesn't look too current. I'll look into this.

any way someone could walk me through this. unfortunately I'm in a hurry because I have to go somewhere tonight and I wanted to get this up and running beforehand so I don't have to deal with it Sunday night.
