    Newbie female has no clue!

    Hi all,

ok so I installed homebrew channel and back up launcher weeks ago and all is fine and working. I had a problem with the 002 error on a few games and installed a fix which solved the problem on all but one game.

I then found a newer back up launcher, downloaded and put on sd card in the apps folder along with some new wad files which I put in the wad folder but none of these are showing up when I put the sd card in the wii and go to homebrew channel. All I can see are the original apps but not the new ones I put onto the sd. I even tried re formatting the card and putting just the new apps on and it still wont show them up.

Am I putting them in the right place on the sd card?

Wads need to go in a 'Wad' folder in the root. You then use Wad manager to install them. Which, if you have it, you WILL find in the homebrew channel menu.

If you don't have wad manager just google it, it's easy enough to find. (You WILL place it in the Apps folder as you have been trying with wads)

Once you start wad manager you'll see what to do. It's pretty straight forward. hit a, select what you want to install, hit '+'.. hit a again to finish..

    OK this makes sense now

I know where I have been going wrong. Have been downloading stuff and putting it all in the apps folder when they are wads and not dol files so now I understand.

Thanks guys for breaking it down into female friendly terms lol
