long story short, i need to get rid of softmod. however i dont want to half ass it, cuz ive never figured out how to do so.
as far as i can tell, i just need to delete the homebrew and loader channels and then turn on the internet so the wii can update itself, right? thanks in advance.

i am using gamma channel. do i have to uninstall the settings on that too?
No. I beleive that the Gamma's changes are application specific.
StarFall configures the master binaries.

so i just uninstall the homebrew channel, the gamma channel, then do a system update and im done?
Why u just format the wii i think that get the trick done
use anytitledeleter to uninstall any ios>200 too, why you doing it anyway?

(retail games work through the backup channel/and loader.

then used bannerbomb method
now wii says 4.0U and on the wii channell it says IOS36v12.18
is my IOS incorrect???
(starting to wish i never saw this,this is pretty painish compared to XBOX and other mods)or at least more touchy
