Delete everything in \usb-loader\ on your memory card. It may be a bad config file.

I've deleted everything. I left the boot.dol file on it, tried it and got the same dump. then removed this file (so nothing was on the card) and still got the error.
darn. what did I do wrong? how did you guys install this?
    thanks!

this is how I have installed this:

    - use wad manager to install cios 10 (found a .wad file)
    - use wad manager to install coverflow RC6

    that's all I need right?
i didn't connect a usb drive though yet.
    thanks.

Ok. I'm going to go out on a limb here. Although i've never tested because that's just mind boggling 'are you fucking with me?'

But you're trying to boot the USB loader without a USB drive attatched? And it's crashing? And your logical conclusion is not to plug in a drive, but to think it's the sdcard?

i figured it'll tell me something like plug in a drive, or usb drive not found.... sorry, not messing w/ ya, just wasn't sure what if the error was something else, or what. let me try that first.

ok i plugged in a usb hard drive - a portal one (2.5" laptop ones w/out power supply type, a 320gb, not clean though, got other junks on it, but I put an wii .iso file onto the root), still got the same dump.
so what is needed on the SD card? or is one necessary if I've already installed cover flow?
and do I need to prepare the USB hard dirve in a certain way, and copy the .iso files onto it a certain way?
    thanks for helping!

yes u cant simply put an .iso on an HDD and play it.... donwload WBFS manager 3.0 and format your HDD with that program and you can press add .iso and it will convert it to wii format and it should run on RC6

    This time i made sure....

    I'm gonna help you

darn, i'm still getting the dump.
I was able to install WBFS manager 3.0.1, and loaded one game.
uninstalled coverflow RC6 and re-installed it.
launched coverflow, and till got the dump. I have the USB drive attached this time.
do I still need something in the SD card?
    thanks!

I know this may sound dumb, but do you have your sdcard in your Wii when you're starting it? If you don't you'll get an immediate DSI dump.
