i was wondering if anyone has been following some issues about hd spindown problems...by my understanding of what i have read some issues that are causing games to freeze after certain lengths of time could be due to this issue...I was just wondering if this is correct or anyone has any input on this discussion
From what I hear it happens on some drives WD or Maxtor , not sure, I believe but they have a harddrive manager that you can take care of it.

i know that part about the manager but i was interested in weather this problem is the one causing games to sometimes freeze up during game play or if this just effects the game if its been paused for too longQuote:

yea i have both those compatability sites, thats not really what im talking about they dont really cover it in there, thats why i was just asking if anyone has been following any of the talks about spin down issues
