    {had a short break from work/went home to try patch}

    I installed patched IOS60.wad with bannerbomb/ wad manager 1.4. I selected IOS35 to install and it installed successfully. I started it up again and tried installing a wiiware wad and samething happens..............

    I tried again, this time selecting IOS60 from install within wad manager 1.4 and.................. samething happens

    I tried again and again picking different IOS from the wad manager and samething.

    I saw IOS254 which was hiding at the end of the selection. I chose that, followed by my SD card, loaded my .wad file, and............... it worked.

    I have strongbad!!!

    I had to be patient and wait a few minutes for them to load. I did get greedy and overloaded wii's memory. It wouldn't let me on the menu until I cleared some space. Following that, the screen went black and said Files Corrupt Refer to Wii Manual (or something of that nature) I restarted the Wii and everything is fine. I will just move installed Channels to SD. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    you need IOS 38, 53, and 55 installed to install and play wiiware, search here and you will find the info you need, but also search for the ticket stub error, you will find info on that as well
