Try these steps to get HBC and cIOS249 on your Wii.
DO NOT TRY THIS ON AN LU64/65 MODEL
1: Download
[Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register] and unpack it onto root of an SD card.
2: Put the SD card in wii, go to Wii Options, than go to Data Management > channels > SD Card then you will get a message saying "Load /boot.dol?" select 'Yes' and CMDVDX34 will run, then pick "Downgrade IOS35", let it finish its job.
3. Restart your Wii, take out the SD card, delete the boot.dol from the root and rename 'boot2.dol' to 'boot.dol'.
4. Put the SD card in wii, go to Wii Options, than go to Data Management > channels > SD Card then you will get a message saying "Load /boot.dol?" select 'Yes' and Wad Manager 1.4 will run, use this to install IOS35-64-v1040.wad, If it doesn't work, don't worry it is already installed.
5. Restart your wii and run wad manager 1.4 again using same method as step 4 except this time select IOS35 as the one it should use and install cIOS249 rev9.wad and HBC 1.0.1.wad.
6. Done! You now have HBC and cIOS249 so all your HB should work. If you plan on staying on 4 add the
