    WBFS Manager and CISO

    Hi Chaps

I just downloaded a game in CISO format to my pc and I wanted to put it on my USB loader Hard drive. So I connected the HD selected WBFS found the drive (h) and opened it up (which showed the files I had installed from the USB loader.

Now my problem is the game I downloaded and extracted to my pc was in CISO format, and the wad manager only recognizes ISO and RAR files.

How to I get to copy this CISO game across to my HD, should I have extracted straight to WBFS Manager/HD?

Please help I cant find much info at all on CISO wbfs files...thanks

    cISO is not the game...
it is a file (there a lot of different types of them) that helps you run games on your wii.
You install thouse on the Wii itself...

this is what i can understand from your post

I got the game(donkey kong racing) from a usenet site it had (WBFS) after the name so I assumed it was in that format but isnt CISO a compacted version of ISO?

If it is, do I need to decompress and burn it to disc then copy using USB loader? but if that is the case why would they go to the trouble of compacting it in the first place as the ISO is already posted on the site, and why write WBFS after the game name? thanks

Is Donkey Kong Racing a Wii game??? USBLoader does not support Game Cube or any other Nintendo console games, just Wii games. Maybe in future we get Game Cube support.

    What is the file size?

How big is the file itself?

A CISO is a compressed iso that can be used on the PSP (when mine worked)

Are you sure its for the wii?

Sorry its 'donkey kong jet race' and yes it is a wii game, if you go to merlins portal you can see in the wii section loads off titles with (wbfs) after there name and the format is CISO, but they also have the standard large ISO file versions too

    File size is 827524kb

The wbfs intelligent gui v6 tool can write .ciso files to USB disk. It also allows you to transfer it back from USB wbfs to uncompressed ISO format to burn on DVD (which works perfect for me)
