    it is a file (there a lot of different types of them) that helps you run games on your wii.
    You install thouse on the Wii itself...

    this is what i can understand from your post
    I'm sorry to inform you that you're wrong.

    cIOS = custom IOS.
    Patched parts of the wii's firmware.

    CISO = Compressed ISO
    Compressed DVD Image files

    hi, i've downloaded and tried out the wbfs intelligent gui to put some ciso games into my drive, but it said my usb drive is incorrect or unformatted partition when it is already formatted and works absolutely fine in the wbfs manager. I got a lot of games in there so I cant reformat it.
    It also said my super mario bros wii.ciso is not wii compatible, can anyone help out? thanks.

    Hey i just came upon your post looking for a sollution to the gui intelligent problem. mine worked fine before but i just upgraded to a larger 400gb hd
    i believe i ran accross a post on the web a while back saying there was 2 wbfs formats one being the hermies wich "gui" was looking for but i formatted
    with the wbfs manager 3.0 wich didnt match up.
    ANYWAYS i just put a ciso on mine using ncWBFStool
