ISO Loader + Srubbed Games + Different Regions

Hi,

Hope im posting in the right section and forgive me if this has been asked before.

I have a PAL Wii on 3.2e with homebrew, Gecko, ISO Loader 1.5 etc. I am able to boot all my ISO's (pal) with no problem.

My question is, if i use brickblocker on an NTSC ISO will ISO Loader boot this game ok on my PAL Wii or do i have to do something else?

Also I've recently read about "scrubbed games", will ISO boot these ok? Again both NTSC and PAL.

Hi m8, I have a pal wii with 3.2e and play ntsc games no probs.

Using backup lanucher or gecko. To be honest I just bang the disc in and 99% of the time it loads fine. I did have problem with one game so used backup lanucher and changed settings.

Recently I have started to use brickblocker to be on the safe side. Just run your iso through that before you burn and you should not have anything to worry about.

I think the key is never run any update on a out of region disc.

I used Region Patcher to alter to PAL and used Brick blocker on the scrubbed ISO's and they booted fine with ISO Loader 1.5

if you install starfall, you wont need to worry about using brickblocker ever again

I followed a guide to install starfall but wasnt sure exactly what it was i was installing. It seemed to install ok and i didnt get any errors.

I found a walkthrough to downgrade my firmware to 3.2e and then install homebrew and star fall etc. Sum of the steps i didnt quite understand, i put my faith in the writer.

He told me to install the last 3 options in starfall so i hope this is a good thing! haha

cool, as long as you got skip disc updates you'll be fine.
