Unhappy What am i doing wrong here ?

ok i put the cIOS36 wad on the root of my sd then i went to the cIOS rev 9 installer on HBC but it gave me this error "extracting content #00...ERROR ! (ret = -1017)" and i have a 320GB Western Digital Passport and WBFS 2.2.2 i guess and when i click format it says "an error occured while attempting to format the hard drive" and what is the best loader out there ?

If u want a very quick easy setup PM me.
Go back to WBFSManager 1 to sort your new HD
Seems wbfs222 and rev10 seems to be causing a lot of probs just for the cover getup.
I,m not concerned about weather my covers show up,its just good to get the games to rip and play in super quick time compared to the old lg drive option.

Cant PM u the link for some reason,u must have disabled it.
just put these on your sd card run ios36r9 first in HBC,then install usbloader wad,in Wadmanager.
Turn off your wii, plug that new HD in,turn on your wii go to usb loader channel and format the new drive.
As far as won,t copy a backup, cant say why,but i,m just going to try myself as soon as i sent this,if i don,t comment back u'll know i had no probs (hotd ok) is what i,m gunna backup onto my HD.
Make sure wiiconnect is ON and when u first start to install ios36r9 at top of screen choose network install (not wad install)

    Code:
    http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?hu1jm3wgi2j
Go back to wbfs manager 1

Right i,m backing up a backup now,but from what i remember if u can,t do it through disc, just take the iso back off your disc then put it on HD using WBFS,thats what i did with my other downloaded iso's.

if your Wii is not connected to a network u need IOS36-64-v1042.wad (google search)
And put this on the root of sd card along with those 2 folders wad/apps.
Then in cios36r9 install choose wad install instead of network install.
Make sure u got netframework 3.5 installed on your pc.

Right HOTD OK copied and played fine.Im also using a WD passport 250 gig from amazon

When u go into wbfs on your pc make sure u choose the right letter for your drive ie-d,e,f,g then press the load button and it should detect and show whats on your drive.
Why would a usbloader iso show in your disc channel?

Use a GUI to format your drive or let the usb loader format it for you properly.

Have you ried using a different loader? I'm using Modv3 and I havent had any problems, even with 1.3 and 1.4 Google WbfsGui FX, that one works fine for me.

I often wondered, does DVDX still need to be installed to read DVDs that are not Wii discs?
Are you using windows vista? Try this - open CONTROL PANEL, then open USER ACCOUNTS, then look at the bottom of the list and you see TURN USER ACCOUNTS ON OR OFF, go there and turn off user accounts. Now you should be able to format with WBFS 2.2.2, just select your drive at the top left and format.
