could it be used for someone to backup her/his whole System_Menu plus everything in the NAND ? so, the wad files may be applied for wii recovery.

I've tried this and it is not saving the extractions to the SD card for me.

It says it successfully extracted, but they just aren't there. Anyone else experiencing this? Where is it supposed to save to?

I have the latest CIOS36 rev 10 installed (which is really what I want to extract). I've tried extracting channels too - nothing gets saved.

nice app ... used it to extract wii speak 2.0 and internet channel .. works perfectly ..

be nice if this would connect to nintendo's server and download content for there too

    Edit

It downloads the wads to the root of the SD card.

If you want to download content off nintendo servers then try NUS Downloader - WiiBrew
