Has anyone tried this yet. I installed cIOS36rev10 (as a requirement). When I tried to install a backup game to drive it was really slow (5% of 3.95G, after 15 minutes). Maybe my drive is not compatible. I'm using a Sandisc 8gig thumb drive formated by using WBFS manager 2.0. Just wanted to get it working before buying a hard drive.

Did you install REV 9?

no, I didn't install rev9, as in the readme for the SDUSB 1.4 download didn't require it. I thought that rev10 would have all that rev9 has plus it being updated.

but after reading Waninikok's blog, now i remember reading that rev10 doesn't modify anyother IOS's, thanks.

Yea but it may be missing something? but doubtful it was just a general question anway.

I have yet to install REV10 gf keeping me busy i haven't touched the wii in awhile.

As for the slow'ness is the USB stick USB 1.0 or 2.0? if 1.0 get a new one :) usb 1.0 is so old and outdated...

Speeds are fine for me a burn from DVD takes 15 - 30 mins i am only using REV9 and USB LOADER 1.0 loaded through HBC.

for me 1.4 dosent work right when i have rev 10 installed it tells my drive is not formatted to wbfs

if i have rev 9 installed it works and reads the drive fine and sees all the games but since its not 10 the game covers dont show up

so not sure why trying to figure that one out

Had fun trying to get ver9 installed, had to uninstall 249, then reinstall it, then install ver 9. Thought I would try it with usb loader v1 since I didn't try that one yet, works fine. Just install my orginal mario kart in about 14 minutes. Wierd though, on a 8gig thumb drive, when game was done installing it says 2.62gig used and 0.85gig free, where is the other 4gigs at? Maybe try USBLoader 1.4 with 36ver10 tomorrow, getting late here.

USB LOADER 1.0 had a bug i believe 1.1 fixxed it 1.1 also works fine forgot to mention i have both .. :)

will this allow loading and installing wad files from the hard drive?

Yes this is offical and is from Waninkoko its the same as USB LOADER just with region free updates and the ability to load full games from SD CARD...
