I don't know if it'd help, but it says rev 1208 cios 222 (rev 4)

Are you making sure to click SAVE when you do that? If so then something is really wrong. Is it a forwarder or full channel? Maybe your storage (sd or usb) is write protected so clicking save doesn't work?? You could just get rid of ALL of the gx related files/channels and fully reinstall with the 249 version.

edit:You installed the 222 rev according to your last post....get the 249 one

I believe that means you're using the wrong boot.dol....make sure you take only the boot.dol from the 249 folder.

I have attached USB Loader GX 3.0 r1204 for IOS 249 in my Devolution guide, you could check the link in my signature and download the attachment there if you can't get this one working.

Should I just trash the sd:/apps/usbloader_gx and replace with you linked one?

Yes. That's what I would do. Also launch it via HBC the first time you load it to rule out your forwarder.

Ugh, I must be missing something because it's still giving me the cios222 (rev4), although it's r1204 now

I don't see how that's possible, if you're using the one from my guide I can guarantee that is for IOS 249...I'll have to take a 2nd look at your sysCheck when I get home and compare it to mine, then I can see if there's anything amiss. All I can suggest right now is try a different SD card and/or USB device and see if it still does that.

Okay, to give you an update (not that you're obligated to care), somehow some config files snuck onto my FAT32 partition of my usb, which is strange because last time I checked, I only had the games on there. I'm testing it out: usb loader gx is back to cios 249 and seems stable.
