Now the wii games won't load. Just come up with "An error occurred..." in GX and black screen in Cfgloader.

You try a different cIOS? Please recheck your SysCheck against what you previously posted (only post if it differs -- simply confirm if still the same).

Syscheck is the exact same. Nothing should be wrong. Some wii games work, but several give me the error message. Smash Bros. Brawl is one of them then there are others that used to work but are now defunct.

EDIT: I switched to cios222 in usb loader gx. Nothing worked, the covers vanished and now it won't change back to cios249

It could be one of several things. Dirty or weak laser lens. Bad/inferior media (only use Verbatim DVD-R with Azo Dye or Taiyo Yuden DVD brands). You could have made bad burns or images --- always make sure you tick the "verify" option in ImgBurn. Inferior media (read: junk media) could work today and not work tomorrow --- I mean that quite literally.

SSBB on older drives (due to it being dual layered) sometimes is problematic at best. Also, I'm hoping you yourself ripped it and with the cIOS included in this guide. Aside from piracy issues, older cIOS (prior to Rev 17 cIOS 249) had broken dual layer support --- meaning the image ripped would be corrupted.

There are some problematic games that may take some extra work to get going. A compilation and linking can be found here. There may be additional explanations that I have overlooked as well.

My wii's disc drive is burnt out, I used my friends wii to rip SSBB. I can't use discs. Also, along with losing all the covers, I can't download them anymore.

If your drive is electrically dead or totally non-operational, you would get errors on a softmoded Wii. You're really not offering me much more to go on, but look here for what I mean. That poster ended up confirming that was the problem here.
