No luck at all. Tried all remote sync techniques but no luck.

Are you trying to sync the remotes from the Wii Menu? Or somewhere else?

I've found that if I try to do it anywhere else besides the Wii Menu, it won't take.

If you don't have any remotes to get you to Wii Menu if you boot into something else, then you'll have to find a GameCube controller to get you back there to sync a remote.

I would suggest looking for a Bluetooth.
    Could be yours is gone.

I have been syncing at the Wii menu, where all the channels are shown.

Is there any definite way to ascertain if the Bluetooth module has actually died? I slightly doubt it because sometimes the blue light on the remotes flicker when trying to sync, sort of telling that there is some communication happening.

Is there any way to update an IOS automatically say by putting a WAD somewhere on an SD without going through WAD manager? I want to try resetting the IOS I changed recently.

What IOS controls the Bluetooth ? I only played around with 250 and 249.

    Try the below....

    1. Make sure all GAME DISCS are REMOVED from the wii system.

    2. REMOVE all memory cards and gamecube controller inputs.

    3. UNPLUG the Wii system's powers chord. reinsert after 20 seconds.

    4. Now you should turn on the Wii system and at the black intro screen with white words,

Re-attempt the controller syncing process as listed above. This means pressing the both red sync buttons, one quick click each,

At the same time. (the wii remote has a sync button under the battery plate cover, and the wii system has a sync button in

the panel flap that opens up, right next to reset button.)

    5. If all this fails. Repeat steps 3. And 4.

6 IF all all this fails, it is very likely your Wii is broken down in some way. you could take it to be repaired, but a complete

replacement will most likely be the easiest and cheapest option.

This was taken from The Nintendo's Tech forum.

Then, try to get a bluetooth and replace it.
