    Us Downgrade error 1035

    Hello,

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place, but here goes.

I have recently loaded my Wii which is on 4.3U version with USB Loader GX. The problem is when I go to run the games it just reboots back to the Wii System Menu. How can I fix this?

    Thanks,
    Dan

I should've edited the subject line. I was actually working on my Wii trying to do a downgrade thinking that would help. When I did the downgrade that was the error I got when trying to downgrade to IOS15.

At any rate, the root of my concerns is being able to run USB Loader GX without it restarting/crashing.

    Sorry for the confusion.

Your IOS249 is a stub. That s why your GX crashes. Install ios249[56]
    D2x v8.wad.

Another newb in the wild, this one. That's most def not a wiihacks softmod (kludge). Here's for the newb (that's you, the original poster aka OP):

    Introduce Yourself

Errors you say? Yeah, we know about errors.

And we know all about a proper softmod guide.

That's three links for the newb (yes, there are links). Any further questions go --- you guessed it --- in the relevant guide. Good luck and welcome to the site!

Awesome - How do I do that? Can just run a WAD manager app and install the ios249[56] WAD? Where can I find that WAD by the way?

Nightstah gave you all the info you need. Go do some reading up! You were on your way to bricking your Wii prior to posting here, so it would be good if you followed his advice and learned a little bit by doing some reading. Welcome to WiiHacks!
