Buy a new connector. Resolder it with plenty of flux applied on pcb.

I know you're capable to do it, looking into the photo that shows your brilliant skill.
To be honest, I've no idea about the pin assignment of the conn/ribbon. However, I guess not all the pins are required to signal the presence of DVD-ROM, or alike. You may find a better way to spoof the mother board and get it plays loaders normally.

If you don't want to do what billy has suggested above, you could always set up SNEEK/UNEEK, which is actually pretty easy to do if you use ModMii.
