So, here's the story, haven't touched my Wii for 2 years, recently I wanted to play games like Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario, and Brawl/Brawl+.
So I went to go put one of the game discs in, gave me a disc read error, went to put another one in, same error. At that moment I
remembered that my Wiis dvd drive didn't work anymore, either the laser went bad or something else. So I came here to search for a way to play
my games, I found out about USB Loaders. I figured that my softmod was a bit outdated since I haven't touched my wii in a while, so
I looked up a guide on how to softmod a wii, found
this guide, followed it from beginning to end, installed everything it told you to, at the end it said that I would be all set and ready
to play games off my USB. At that point I went to my friend place who has a Wii with a working DVD drive to rip my games to my HDD. After that I
sat down, hooked up my HDD to my Wii, launched Cfg-Loader, and tried to launch Brawl, I waited for about half a minute before it gave me Brawls
" An Error has occurred, Press the eject button " screen. I thought it could have been a bad dump, so I tried to launch another game, same error.
Another game, same error. I don't understand why that happens, I'm pretty sure I set everything up correctly, I know my HDD is compatible, it's on the compatibility list. I also tried to launch the games with the other loaders, USB Loader GX and WiiFlow, still received the same errors.
I don't know if it would help, but here is a sysCheck ( It might look a little messy since after the 2nd time I did the guide I just started looking things up,
trying several suggestions )

EDIT : Forgot to say, I tried this with my drive formatted as WBFS, FAT32, and NTFS.
EDIT 2 : Oh yeah, I also did quite a bit of searching, couldn't find anyone with the same problem I have.
