Menu Change By Using a WAD

so i was trying to get mymenuify to work and it refused to so i searched for alternate ways to change the menu, and i found a darkwii wad for wii 4.3u (my wii) so i installed it and tada it worked! so i was wondering if you could somehow take this base wad and inject a csm into it somehow to get menus to be more brick-safe, easier to change-- just a idea/question.

Did you try MyMenuifyMod or MyMenuify? The latter didn't work for me, the former did. Unfortunately you can only put five csms that show up in MyMenuifyMod, make sure you have Priiloader installed just in case of a theme brick and if you reinstall the original white menu make sure you reinstall Priiloader as reinstalling the white menu can remove it.

priiloader is NOT enough protection to be messing with themes. If your wii is not boot2 you should not gamble with themes.

I've used lots of themes and always used Priiloader to recover from bricks whenever I have bricked with no problems, and on different wiis, The only time I bricked a wii was when I tried to install a channel for Mario Party 9 to play from USB loader and accidentally reinstalled the white menu when trying to get to Priiloader. I have two wiis both have custom themes and have had no problems with either and both going strong.

boot2 Wii could be why you were able to recover that brick. if priiloader gets messed in the process you could end up have to learn Nand programming unless you are confirmed boot2. not worth the risk my personal opinion. For that matter not worth it at all. how often do you stare as the system menu that you need a theme...

I do not "stare at the Wii Menu", it's just a nice refreshing change to see something other than the boring white one, and I don't need telling that I need to read the Health and Safety Instructions every time I turn on my Wii.

You can bypass the health and safety screen with a priiloader hack...
