Incompletely downloaded cover art crashes Wii

So here I was...scrolling through the games in USB Loader GX...when BAM! my screen is black background with white letters.

    "Exception (DSI) occurred!"

Oh no, just when I was about to wrap it up. I had just downloaded cover art the day before and now...this!

Long story short...my Wii crashed because one of the cover art files did not download cleanly through USB Loader GX. When USB Loader GX tried to read it, it choked. I had another system with a clean file, overwrote the bad one and...voila! Problem solved.

Well because they are stored on the sd card couldnt you have just pulled the card, put it into a computer, and deleted the corrupted fie? That or just pop the sd card out and boot up, or was it bricked to the point you had to replace thre file for it to work?

Just had this happen yesterday. Took me a few minutes to figure out what was going on, but once I did, it was a quick easy fix. Just pop the SD card in your PC and delete the latest few files, (or the one with the unusually small file size), then just redownload the covers. No biggie.

Yeah, my post states the problem I faced and then tells the reader how I corrected the problem. You did read my post, right?

While checking the "good" wii's image files I also saw where another file had not downloaded cleanly. I went to WiiTDB - Nintendo Wii games database | Home to get a good copy.
