I use the HP ones and they seem to work fine

I thought lightscribe is for like movies? cause i know that is what you use for your DVD movies.

Lightscribe is a CD/DVD you can burn an image on the other side so it looks all pretty.
what program do you guys use to burn the light scribe image, I have the drive but no software

I only use Phillips 16X DVD-R Lightscribe discs... worked every time (50+ )
BUT... I DO think it depends on the Burner, I just switched to SATA LG burner and since then NONE of them worked, I even tried reburning some games that have worked before and still nothing... so Im gonna switch BACK to the IDE burner and let you know
you mean SATA drives won't work ??
I thought that's what it was....
originally I had a LG H55 series IDE DVD burner which worked awesome!! (50+)
I switched to LG H22 series SATA DVD burner and out of the 4 I tried NONE worked
I thought it was the SATA/IDE issue.. so I tried LG H22 series IDE burner and still no luck
maybe these newer burner have something blocking it???
I'll try to get hold of an older IDE burner
UPDATE, the LG H22 IDE does work... I had a scratch on the DVD
