SNES Cover Art for Snes9x GX 4.1.5

I think the cover mod is dead, I heard Tantric is adding covers to the next official release.

UPDATED: heres the download : Snes9x GX cover art

UPDATE:

Here's a link with all (or most) boxart, but you gotta rename evertything.. BOX ART its 300 mb
ALSO : In the file there are 4 different images, the 1st is the box art (0001.PNG).... You have to rename it exactly as the rom is spelled except DELETE the [!] if you have it and the space before it...
example: Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World (U) [!].smc
rename 0001.PNG to Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World (U).PNG

Works for version SNES9x GX 4.1.5 (replace the boot.dol)

FOR THOSE HAVING TROUBLE NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE THE COVERS

please go to Settings -> Saving & Loading -> Covers Folder and add a backslash ( "/" ) to the end. That will fix the problem with the covers not showing up.

I just saw this posted at tehskeen, I'm going to give it a try but also need to find a way to download the covers and one package would be nice. Perhaps an updated release will include a way to download covers with the emulator :)

Really great find. I love the eye candy and there's not much cooler than retro gaming. Thanks a lot for this thread!

I just checked my version of SNES9x GX and it's 4.14. I am wondering why there is no box art icon between the SETTINGS and EXIT buttons that allows for the cover art display. Can someone help me with this please?

it only works for me if i launch it from the homebrew channel and not the forwarder channel..it loads straight to the box art.. idk maybe we have to update the forwarder .. my computer is broke so i cant do anything for now
I also want to work on the box art download so noone has to rename everything ...

Hmmm, that's how I launch mine too so I wonder what I'm missing? I haven't loaded any box art at all... could that be why the icon isn't present? How weird would that be!

P.S.- Sucks about your PC being broken... I hope you get it fixed soon.
