Exclamation USB Loader GX as a Channel - Cover Failure

    Hi

I have a softmodded Wii where USB Loader GX is installed as a channel.
I copy games to a WBFS formatted USB Thumb Drive using Wii Backup Manager 0.4.5 (build 78) (x64)
Everything works fine, however I don't get any cover art.

The console is not connected to the internet & no SD card.

How can I copy Cover Art to the USB Thumb Drive so that the USB Loader GX will detect
    & load it?

I tried the following options in Wii Backup Manager but nothing happens. Log show "failed"
Covers > Update displayed cover cache
Covers > Sync and download all
Covers > Sync and download missing

    Thank you.

The short answer is: you can't.

The longer answer is that you could if you used FAT32 and repoint the box art path to USB, that might work.

Thank you for replying. The problem is that, if I use FAT32 (thru Wii Backup Mgr) USB Loader GX loads the games but then freezes. Hence I have to format the Thumb Drive to WBFS & then everything works fine; but no covers.

As per your suggestion, can I make 2 partitions on the USB Thumb Drive using Easeus so that the Primary partition is WBFS & secondary is FAT32 of lets say 10 - 20 MB?

Can I then simply put the cover art onto this small FAT32 partition & make USB Loader GX read them?
In short, can USB Loader GX read 2 partitions - one for WBFS game & one for cover art - both on same thumb drive?

    Thanks.

Most homebrew apps don't like to use multiple partitions, maybe will let you pick one of many, but likely not use more than one at a time.

Have you tried a different USB device? Have you looked into finding an SD card? You can get a good one for cheap and a cheap one for cheaper.

Seems the only solution is SD Card. Will give that a try. Thanks llaffer.
