need IOS files. where do I get them?

I let someone use my wii and told them not to upgrade it and they did anyway non of my burned games work. SYSCheck shows that IOS 3,4,10,11,16,20,30,50,51 are all stubed. How do I remove them and where can I get new ones? If they are wad files then I can just use the wadfile installer. If not, then what?

Is your problem actually to do with playing out of region games?
Updates don't usually stub ios needed to play games from a modchip, as they are the same used for original disks.
Actually looks like you may be using an outdated kind of app to do a system check. As this indicates a 4.1 system menu and nothing needed should be stubbed by that.

Well all of the sudden, I cant play any burned games and I cant play any DVD movies like I used to be able to do. the system menu is 4.1U

Are you sure your modchip is functioning? As Odd said, an update shouldn't have effected it.

Press reset 3 times without a disk in your Wii and see if the Wasabi config starts.

That was a good idea, but it only read ONE burned game.

I keep getting this error on almost every disc I put in the Wii, " An error has occurred. Press the eject button and remove the disc, then turn the Wii console off and refer to the Wii operations manual for help troubleshooting."

I decided to take the SD chip out, and all the games started to work :confused:

The only thing is i would like to have the HomeBrew Channel, (since it's in the SD card)
(I almost went ahead reinstalled the system menu 4.1, I'm glad I didn't)

Has anyone one else encountered this problem ?

Did you look in the modchip areas of the forum to see if anyone had simular issues? There are areas that deal with modchips in general and those that are very specific, and I'm sure your particular brand/model is there.
