    WasabiDX Error Massage

    Hello

    I install the WasabiDX on to my Wii Version 3.4E fitted it, when i goin and test it and try to acess the menu screen cause i cant after ive pressed the reset button 3 times, the screen goes black and get this message up

    An Error has occurred press the eject button and remove the disc , then turn the wii console off and refer to the wii operations manual for help troubleshooting

    Is the wassabi chip dead as i can see the a green light on the chip

    The wii works fine without the chip in place

    Looks like faulty chip, try re-seating it.

    Why not softmod too? It is possible to do both.

    With that error message, it does look like the chip is not taking control of your Wii Drive. If re-seating the chip and making sure the switches are set correctly does not fix this, the chip looks to be at fault here.

    Your Wii Drive isn't using the D3-2 chipset is it? The D3-2 chip is the one Nintendo is using to block the Wii Drove from reading backup discs-the Wasabi DX will not be able to reprogram the drive to read backup discs.

    No Wii is a GC2-DMS: chip set

    ive tried re connecting it a few times now still same error code
