didnt asked for me, but i keep my wii up-to-date, i used to allow update for every game (like madworld and others versus the black screen problem). maybe an other game already updated it.

All I did was Dl'ed the BCA file from wasabi's website, drag and dropped the nsmb file onto the BCA file, then burned it to disc. Nothing else needs to be done.

This worked perfectly with a 4.2u wii, both my wife and I played it for the better part of the night.

Was your iso scrubbed or unscrubbed? There seems to be some suggestion that only unscrubbed isos will work.

I have 4.1e and wasabi 3.0 beta. I used NSMB update from wasabi site and it works like a charm I also removed the system update with Wiu1.1.

Thanks! It does work and this is the first disk ran NSMB I have had work! Upgraded to Wasabi 3.0 beta, used their BCA patcher, and kept on getting system updates. Downloaded Wiu1.1 -
    wiu1.1.rar
    and that worked!

First use a unpached fresh ISO, drag the ISO on to the BCA patcher. Then run the Wiu1.1 to remove the system update (on the right hand side of Wiu1.1, in brickblocker box, click patch update button.).

I am assuming that it was asking me to update since I have been running a Trucia patched IOS53 so that I could get the SD version of the game to work.
    Good Job guys!

    Unscrubbed, raw iso file.

I couldn't get BCA patch to work after updating to the real 4.2 update. So I followed this http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...tem-menus.html and can run an unpatched NSMB DVD-R through Neogamma. It's at least an alternative for those pulling their hair like me and couldn't get the BCA patch ISO to work.

You shouldn't have to. When you drag your ISO onto the BCA patch, what happens? As others have pointed out make sure it is an untouched, unscrubbed ISO.

Agreed, no problems. Did the 3.0 beta update first, but works great and easy peasey. Drag, drop, burn, play.
