OK, I patched it. It said patch went OK. Unfortunately the disc window says WII SYSTEM UPDATE :-( I think I was supposed to run the WiiBrickBlocker first :-(
you should be able to set the wasabi to block import/domestic disc updates using the same disc you used to update to the wasabi 3.0 firmware. you could also run preloader/priiloader and have it block disc updates. search "preloader" here on the forums, for tutorials on how to install and run it if you want to go that route however the wasabi disc should have the settings you need to set on your chip to be up and playing. if not then you probably need an ios. not sure which one it is off hand and you shouldn't need it but there's a post here on the forums about which ios'es games use to run.

This Wii is strickly Wasabi DX modchip. I do not want to get into software.
I burned another DVD, used wiibrickblocker first, then the bca patch on that, then burned it, and it worked fine. At least the first level that we tried.
The blocker doesnt seem to work in the firmware I had that enabled.
