Wasabi DX don't work, Wii work like no Wasabi inside

Just installed Wasabi DX in my Wii LEH10283950 with latest Wii menu 4.2E.

After installing Wasabi DX, Wii works like before: run all license games from EU, but nothing more. Wii don't run games from another region.

I can't start Wasabi menu by pressing 3 times EJECT - Wii says "unable to read disk", I can't update Wasabi with Update to 2.0 DVD - the same message.

Wii works like nothing aliens inside it, but Wasabi inside and wired by instructions. I properly switch the region (PAL) on mod chip.

What else? What's wrong?

have u tried a backup from the pal region, it appears there is a similar problem with the drivekey now not playing backups with 4.2 installed

I didn't try any backups, but I thin a problem in the another field - I can't open Wasabi setup - Wasabi blocked by Wii, and didn't work.

after rechecking jumpers I found error and correct jumpers. now Wasabi work, upgraded to BETA 2.0, playing original PAL and NTSC backup, but didn't play original american NTSC disk. Why?

Wasabi option:

Region free: enable
Autoboot: disable
Blocker: enable

I am having the same problem. I wasted like 5 dvds tryin to get this right. i installed the wasabi dx properly, i mean its not hard at all with the ribbon. This is wat i did. I downloaded the 2.0 update den extracted it. It den extracted to another winrar file so i extracted it again. Itried every angle. i just need a step by step process

is your wasabi actually working, can you play backups? or are you just trying to update?

No i can't play original or backups with the wasabi dx installed

reinstall the wasabi dx and look at the ribbon cable.
look of the ribbon cable is good in place at the wasabi dx.
the wasabi dx should work with 4.2
