Just installed wasabi dx

Hi guys im very new to this.

i have just installed a wasabi dx and upgraded to v2.0 with a dvd update.

now my original games work fine.

but the backups dont come up unable to read disk
or come up with update needed to run this software.

i use imgburn at 2 speed or 4 speed with dvdr- and i tried a dvdr+
but all come up with unable to read disk.

i am using cheap dvd's could this be my problem??

the wasabi chip turns green after turning on.
also have been in to its menu and have region free enabled and everything else enabled.

anyhelp from you guys would be great as im at a loss with this .

thanks Gary

are you saying the some backups DO come up unable to read and some come up update needed? if that is correct and you dont have any softmodding done, just go ahead and let the games that want an update do so, just make sure the games that you let update your system are of the same region as your wii or you will brick it. or u could go into ur wasabi settings menu and block updates on imports and in region games, that will either fix the problem or cause the games to hang with a black screen whenever start them because they in fact need the update to play.

also the games that come up unable to read sound like an issue with the media you used or the way they were burned. what type of discs are you using?

Not sure if you got a Staples around you. But once every like 2 months they throw a Verbatim sale. They sell them $25 bucks for 100 disks. You can't go wrong with that.
