ok so what you did is correct, however looking at the clip pic last one, i notice the edge of the clip area seems like its damaged ?

If you are capable of soldering I would recommend desoldering it from the clip and wiring it per Wasabi Wii Modchip - Compatible with DMS, D2A, D2B, D2C, D2C2, D2E - Upgradable from DVD - Simply the best instructions. you will need to short d+e.

Us Do I have to unsolder the clip from the chip?

Hi Spyman: Once again many thanks! I wanted to know if I can just connect the 5 cables as per the pic, without having to unsolder the chip from the clip? It will be easier from me since I am not very good soldering. Soldering those 4 cables (+1 F), seems to be pretty easy. Another question, what about the D2B jumper, will it still be ok, since it is in the clip and not the chip? Finally, I assume that I don't have to mount the clip on top of the regular chip, or does it need to be in contact, since we are bypassing the clip? Spyman, I am getting so anxious about this, really want to play my games. Thanks, so much, I am constantly looking at the forum waiting for your much appreciated help. By the way, I was looking at the link you sent me for Wasabi installation instructions and did not find it too helpful, which it had a picture or diagram.

Us Problem Resolved, Wasabi Working Great!!

    Hi Spyman:
I want to thank you once more for your time and help. I bypassed the clip and soldered the chip straight to the system board and worked fine.
