Well I think I give up. I have resoldered about 6 times now and I'm sure that all my points are solid. Made sure no wires were crossing. I'm not a novice chip installer. I've done plenty of xbox'/ps2s but this is only my 3rd Wii. I think it's either the chip or a very stubborn Wii. If anyone can think of anything else please let me know. Thanks for your time and I'm grateful for your help.

You might also try updating the Wii to at least 3.2

Don't give up buddy.....I feel that DMS drive is a picky drive you have....remove the chip and install a wiikey instead....I feel that drive want some ***** slapping with a wiikey. Use that wiikey chip instead and install the wasabi in another drive that is a D2C or above.

Thanks everyone for the great support.
Hope to hear from you soon, cause i'm getting ready to retire from the modding scene.
