i see on a site that there is a wasabi 2 with the clip already installed and it says no soldering. I just want to make sure that this is true because i have the c2d2c on my chip inside and thought that only the d2 pro chip was the only one that would work without soldering ? so is it possible to use this new wasabi with the clip and no soldering because i dont see anyone that says they are using the new wasibi with clip.
ok, still unsure, I can buy the wasabi 2 presoldered to the clip. is there still a point you have to solder to the wii after this or does the clip just snap on and thats it?
and also have watched a couple of videos that show the install. still a solder on the wasabi. and after the install of the chip and clip , what is that mario looking paper that they stick over the ship?
D2E A9 are clone chips of wasabi......for d2c and wasabi clip it requires one wire to be soldered. even the d2pro9 requires one wire to be soldered unless its flashed to the latest 2.3 firmware which we do on all orders...the only other chip that doesnt require soldering is the d2sun

mod chips for $75. labor/install + shipping which is $15. these mod chips are great..
have already installed 5 of them.. they all work great with all versions of Wii.. specially
the D2E.. I have installed them on the cut leg, d2c, d2c2 and d2e.. AWESOMENESS!

ok ,, two different modders replying ... why will one wasabi work without the soldering and the other not. not trying to start a war, just trying to understand?
I dont work with the wii-clip.. so i wouldnt be able to tell you why..
I would guess it's a Wii-clip issue..
We are the only place afaik that offers a solderless wasabi2, we had a custom modded wii-clip designed for us.
