Is that the Wasabi v1 or v2
Will it work if I upgrade to 3.3U?
I have a wii bought in August 2007, I believe, will it work with that one?

As I stated in your other thread, You should go for either the Wasabi2 or the D2Pro9v2/v3 also consider having either one of those presoldered onto WiiClip if you are not soldering expert.
All chips work at Wii firmware 3.3.
So this is a Wasabi v2?
No mention of D2E for that one so i'm guessing it is a Wasabi 1.
Its not clear from that link if its v1 or v2 you can check out the following two sites which have their products clearly labeled

We also carry a solderless clip if you like, but if you can solder you save a lot of $ :)
Yeah, Ive been soldering since I was 5 (Didn't end well)
Im going for the Wasabi v3 with solderless clip and tri-wing screwdriver (I don't have one)
I don't feel confident about soldering because ive seen many people destroy their wiis :(
Hopefully it'll work ok, I'll post back here afterwards.
oh yeah, will the clip thingy work on cut legs?
clip works with cut legs. remember that with wasabi v3 and clip u will need to solder one wire F.
Alright, thanks, is there anything I should do to ensure that the clip stays on?
just dont keep taking the clip on and off otherwise it makes the clip loose. u can use electrical tape as well to keep it on but this should not be needed
