New Super Mario Bros. Error with Wasabi Zero and 4.2U firmware

I've been having problems with getting the New Super Mario Bros. to work properly on my wii, I've burnt 12 copies and the disks are Verbatim DVD-R and Fujifilm DVD-R, they all give the same error telling me to eject and power off my wii. Any suggestions/help?

Have you updated your wasabi zero with the newest 3.0 firmware available on wasabi's website?

Have you patched NSMB using the wasabi patching tool?

try these if you haven't and it should work then.

I have now gotten the New Super Mario Bros. to work on my 4.2U Wii with a Wasabi Zero modchip. I upgraded the chip to 3.0 by going to the wasabi website and then I bought some new Verbatim DVD-R discs and burned the Unpatched, Unscrubbed, completely unmodified ISO by Qwiff with ImgBurn at 2x speed and it works completely fine now

I have exactly the same problem. My wii is 4.1E upgraded through Pimp My Wii.

In you case, an unpatched ISO should not work. Are you sure it is not BCA-patched?

Do you know if the BCA patch depends on the game's/wii's region?

I tried again and this time it worked! This time I tried a torrent called:
    NEW SUPER MARIO BROS [PAL][BCA-MODED][FULL-ISO]
but this is exactly the same as I have generated using the full iso and BCAfix program from wasabi. I think it was a true bad disk not the protection.

    Good luck.
