    Novice solderer needs advice(WASABI)

I recently tried to install my wasabi chip on my d2b drive. Everything went pretty well until I tried to solder my final wire the the optical drive. I somehow sucked all the solder off the solder point, and oxidized ( or maybe slightly burned) the solder point. A solder diagram is available Here.

The point in question in the "B" point on the drive. I cant get a wire to attach to that point. Can i solder a wire to the point directly above the correct solder point shown in the above picture? Or can I dremmel out the area, and attempt to solder then? Will this mess up my circuit board? Does anyone have any other suggestions? I will try to include a pic later if my description sucks. I'm located in denver, colorado if you do installs- I would be happy to pay at this stage in things.

The drive still works fine- reads disks w/o a problem, so i haven't damaged it to that extent, and i would prefer not to.

burnt point on the chip or on the wii board? if its on the wii board you can follow the trace to the black IC chip and solder it to the legs...if you have managed to burn the A B points it will probably be tough to solder to the ic points....you might want to save causing more damage and just order a clip
